Dylan + Lucy

I got to marry my favorite person in the exact spot where we fell in love. I am beyond grateful for this place, the surrounding natural landscape and gardens that have shaped me. I am so thankful for the people I’ve met here and relationships I’ve made. Thank you to our families for their unconditional love and acceptance.

With Dylan and I being so involved with the outside maintenance and care of the grounds at Sunflower Hill Farm, it meant the world to me to get to plant a Dogwood tree during our ceremony to mark the day and spot where we met ,fell in love and said our “I do’s.” Adding to this beautiful hills side in the company of our closest family members was so peaceful and intimate. I will never forget walking up that gravel road hand picking the daffodils of my bouquet. Between the Forsythia in bloom, the small goldfinches playing tag in the trees and the thousands of daffodils blooming in every garden bed, it felt like the day was in a happy yellow glow. The soil here is something special to me. Everything about this day feels like magic to me and I am so fortunate to have spent that day and (hopefully) every single day in the foreseeable future with the love of my life out in nature.

(thank you for so accurately capturing everything about this day. It was perfect.)
