Janelle + Ken
Janelle and Ken were so much fun to design for. They are incredibly vibrant and joyful people and I loved getting to make flowers that reflected their chemistry. When Janelle and I first sat down to discuss plans she was instantly a joy to be around. Janelle is bright and bubbly and full of life so I knew I wanted her florals to be as colorful and inviting as she was. She expressed her love for creativity and color and was all for a colorful playful color palette. We love a bride who’s not afraid to make a statement! Janelle, Ken, and their beautiful family brought such a glow to Sunflower Hill Farm, I was thrilled to be able to capture that and use it as the inspiration behind my designs. Janelle and Ken love to travel and Janelle shared with me some pictures from one of their trips together. They had seen some incredible tropical plants and flowers which inspired me to include some non-traditional tropical blooms in their arrangements. I think everything blended together so beautifully and really made an impact. Janelle and Ken are such a beautiful lively couple and I really wanted their florals to resemble their joy and playfulness.

“Lucy was fantastic to work with - I didn’t know exactly what I wanted when it came to wedding flowers but I knew it was more non-traditional and she DELIVERED! My bridal bouquet was so beautiful and I was obsessed with it to the point that I have three different plans to try and save and cherish it. Every little touch that I didn’t even know that I wanted was absolutely beautiful, from the boutineers to the petals in the petal toss, and even going above and beyond to look at my pinterest board and see what inspo I had found rather than me fumbling to try and say what I liked. She somehow managed to distill out exactly what I wanted and make it come to fruition so beautifully that even in the pictures I can’t help looking at the flowers! If I need flowers for any events in the future I will definitely be using Moody Blooms.”
