Lindsey + David

Lindsey and David had such an incredibly elegant wedding. I love color but sometimes it’s nice to take away some of the noise and get this clean slate to play with. Having a very white color palette pushes me to get creative with textures. I had so many different stems in Lindsey bouquet ranging from soft rounded beige Sweet Peas to ridged white Strawflower. In the middle of it all I stamped a huge Westminster rose to be the main focal point. there were so many different shades of white that I wanted to add something in contrast. My first thought was to introduce a chocolate cosmos to the mix. I loved the boldness they bring but I felt like the proportions were wrong. The central rose was absolutely HUGE ,a gorgeous Westminster rose that totally swallowed the dainty chocolate Cosmos. I needed a dark bold flower similar to the chocolate cosmo but big enough to be seen. The solution, homegrown echinacea seed pods. I love how they were in contrast with the shades of white in the bouquet. It was absolutely perfect! Thank you Lindsey and David for allowing me to be a part of this day!
