Tyler + Kenzie
I feel very repetitive when I say how meaningful what I make is to me but this bouquet really did have some special meaning. When Kenzie said she wanted a cascading bouquet I was thrilled. I rarely get to make these and they are so elegant. I had been struggling designing with a very nontraditional flower but I knew a cascading bouquet would be the perfect opportunity to show off this flowers unique shape. Amaranthus golden rod is a beautiful very textured flower that is somewhat difficult to work with. It is quite large and a rusty orange color. I can’t think of a better way to showcase this bloom than falling in front of Kenzies beautiful wedding dress. And getting to watch this from seed to bouquet is so fulfilling. I also got to incorporate some farm grown Dusty Miller foliage for filler. I have said it before and I know I will say it again but, getting to be so sustainable and creative with nature brings me so much happiness. I truly love what I do. Thank you Kenzie and Tyler for letting me do what I love for your important day.
